Artist Statement
I am drawn to a whimsical style as I like to experiment with bold choices in my character’s wardrobe construction, hair styles and color coordination. I am a maximalist and think that overly decorated fashion is special. Sometimes I try to make my characters and scenes appear to have more than what is there. Less is more sometimes but other times more is more. I do not mind either approach if the result is dramatic enough
